Respect & Conduct
Treat every player, staff member, and community member with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, personal attacks, or targeted toxicity are not tolerated. Enforcement may include warning, kick, temporary ban, or permanent ban depending on severity.
Staff Interaction
If staff intervene, comply first and appeal later through the proper ticket process. Do not argue with staff during active roleplay or administrative situations.
Exploits, Cheats & Third-Party Software
Cheats, mod menus, macros, duplication glitches, bug abuse, and third-party advantages are prohibited. Severe violations may result in immediate permanent ban.
Metagaming & Stream Sniping
Do not use information from streams, Discord, OOC chat, friends, or other outside sources for in-character advantage. Character knowledge and player knowledge must remain separate.
Combat Logging & Powergaming
Do not disconnect during active roleplay, combat, chases, traffic stops, arrests, negotiations, or investigations. If you crash, return as soon as possible. Do not force outcomes, deny reasonable reactions, or use mechanics to create unfair one-sided scenes.
No Baiting, No Win Mentality
Do not intentionally provoke other players into breaking rules, creating reports, or starting conflict without roleplay purpose. Golden Coast is story-driven, and losing scenes can create better roleplay than trying to win every encounter.
