What Ownership Means Here
Business ownership is not meant to be passive income. It is a roleplay position with real visibility inside the community. Owners are expected to create scenes, hire staff, keep their location active, and contribute something players can recognize and remember.
What To Prepare Before Applying
Come in with a clear concept. Be ready to explain the business type, who will run it, what hours or events you want to host, how it fits the city, and what kind of roleplay it will create for other players beyond your own friend group.
How To Apply
Use the Discord ticket guide first, then open the correct business-related ticket inside the Golden Coast RP Discord and outline your idea clearly. Strong applications usually include the business vision, staffing plan, expected activity level, and any custom setup requests that would help bring the concept to life.
Setup Fee
Some businesses require backend setup such as locks, stashes, registers, society access, target zones, employee permissions, or custom interaction points. The current one-time business setup fee is $30. There are no monthly ownership fees attached to that setup.
Activity Expectations
Owners should remain active, responsive, and invested in the health of their business. If a location stays inactive for long stretches, never opens, or stops serving the community, staff may review its status so the opportunity can stay useful to the wider server.
If You Step Away
If an owner leaves the server or can no longer manage the business, the location may be reassigned, reviewed for transfer, or reopened for future applicants. Communication goes a long way. If your availability changes, let staff know early so the transition can be handled cleanly.
